Hello District 13!
I live in Nashville, TN along with my husband and our 6 year old son. With all of us having dwarfism, LPA is very important to us and we are so grateful for this organization. I am a lifetime member and have devoted my time to the Nashville chapter where I was chapter president for almost 10 years. LPA has done so much for me while growing up and I am so excited to see it do the same for so many more families. I am honored to be the district director and always here to be of any help to all of you!
Kristian Reeves hails from Jackson, Alabama, but relocated to Tuscaloosa to pursue his education at The University of Alabama. Following his college years, he transitioned to Birmingham, Alabama, where he secured a position with a utility company. Recently, Kristian returned to his hometown of Jackson while maintaining his employment with the same utility company. Having been involved with the LPA since his youth, Kristian has now assumed his first officer role within the organization. Presently, he holds the position of District 13 Assistant Director.
Kelsie is a lifetime member of LPA and has been involved for 30+ years on a Chapter, District, and National level. She currently is serving her second term as the district’s treasurer. She loves meeting new members and making sure they feel welcomed and included in the “LPA family”. She knows it’s important for our community members, both average height and short-statured, to have a safe space to share their lived experiences and learn from one another.
On a personal note, Kelsie lives in Nashville, TN along with her husband Mike and son Henry; like many LP couples, Kelsie and Mike grew up in the LPA community and met at a national conference. They also are members of LPA’s Biotech Committee. She is a pediatric nurse practitioner and currently works in the biotech industry.
Allie Reeves is originally from Chattanooga, TN. She pursued her undergraduate studies at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga before furthering her education at The University of Alabama. Upon completing her academic journey, Allie commenced her career at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). Since departing from UAB, she has devoted herself to supporting children with special needs. Allie brings her enthusiasm for community growth to LPA, as she is new to the organization and eager to contribute. Presently, she resides in Jackson, Alabama, alongside her family.
